Nature lovers, biodiversity lovers and budding scientists will not miss Lab 71, a site for discovering science and sustainable development located at Dompierre les Ormes. And for animal lovers, come and test the donkey milk cosmetics in Cluny before leaving for an unforgettable stroll through the whole of the Cluny region with Francis’ donkeys. Finally, fly in spring to the Ain, and its Bird Park. Observe more than three hundred and fifty feathered species from all over the world, a real colourful world that will delight the whole family.
Finally, South Burgundy is also its famous wine heritage. Go to the estates and taste some of the best wines in France, Saint Véran, Pouilly Fuissé and Mâcon. And to close the visit, make a detour to the splendid city of Macon, the South Gate, and its museums.
